About
Hello, there! We are Mad Peet – an ambitious, kick-ass, and independent game development microstudio. Mad Peet was founded by Florian Zitzelsberger in 2009 and we became a legal entity in 2010. We are located in Orange County, California and we recently released our first game, Irides, for the iPhone / iPod Touch, as well as the Sega Dreamcast. At the moment, we are working on a new project, which you will soon be able to read more about here…
On this website you can read up about Mad Peet and always stay up to date with what is currently going on in our tiny studio. With our latest project, we are employing the “open development” approach and you will be able to read about our new project on our frequently updated blog. Regardless of whether you are interested in simply awesome games or want to know more about our development progress, you will feel at home here.
Here are some frequently asked questions:
Who is Peet?
Peet is a 12-year-old, medium sized terrier mix. He is our mascot and his favorite activities are sleeping, eating and traveling. Peet has been to San Francisco, Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon and Germany.
Why is he mad?
Peet is not really mad. In fact, he is really nice most of the time. He doesn’t really care much about anyone or anything, except puppies, cats, bunnies and squirrels. If you annoy him for a while, however, he will get mad, roll on his back and make grunting noises.
Who is on the team?
Currently, there is Anddy Archer, responsible for game design and programming, and Florian Zitzelsberger, in charge of production and core programming. However, since we are a small team, we both do a lot more than just that.
You are so awesome, Mad Peet. I want to wear you!
